Open Box Discounted Night Vision | LLI Aeternus Binocular #52 | Turn-Key Kit
This specific night vision unit is from our rental fleet, and we are offering it to someone looking to get into Night Vision at a discounted rate. This kit comes as a turnkey package that includes the night vision device, mount arm, helmet mount, Pelican case, and lens protectors. All you need is a helmet that accepts standard night-vision mounts.
These units have been used within our rental fleet. To ensure you know what you are purchasing, we went through each unit and took pictures of its exterior and the tubes in use. Many of our units have nicer tubes in them and have not accumulated blemishes. You will see this in the images. We have also included Spec sheets for all of our white phosphor tubes. Spec sheets for the green phosphor tubes are not available, as they were government contract tubes.
Run times for these tubes varied and were not tracked, since not everyone was rented for each event during the season. A rough estimate is that each unit was rented up to 10 times per season, and each of those events typically had a 2-nights of play, with roughly 9 hours of nighttime each event during the summer. This means that on average, each tube has around 180 hours of use per season on the high end. Our oldest tubes have been in service for less than 4 years, so max would be 720 hours total in the worst-case scenario. Many of our tubes have been used much less than that. We started with a smaller fleet in 2022 and grew it over the following 2 years, just for reference.
