Perun Clickers for Airsoft: Transforming Airsoft Trigger Feel in 2025

Perun Clickers for Airsoft: Transforming Airsoft Trigger Feel in 2025

Posted by Talon M. on Jul 23, 2025

Perun is a trusted Polish airsoft brand known for producing high-quality MOSFETs starting in 2018 and electronic upgrades built for realism, performance, and durability throughout the years. Their newest release, the Clicker Trigger Series, brings a tactile and mechanical "break" to AEG triggers—delivering that crisp, firearm-like feel many players crave. Today, we're diving into the V2 PRO and Speeder V2 Clickers to see how they stack up in both milsim and speedsoft setups.
The newest additions to the Perun lineup are the ‘Clicker’ accessories- these are designed for the Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes. These Clickers are drop-in accessories and use magnets to simulate a “wall” or “break”. The intention of the first clicker, the Clicker V2, was to introduce a trigger that had a tactile hard click and reset to feel more like a real trigger. This trigger is meant for more realism enthusiasts, replicating the action of a real firearm without going to a gas blowback sytem which is a dilemma that airsofters over the years have had to wrestle with. The Clicker V2 was received so well in combination with the Hybrid mosfet that it spurred Perun to make the Clicker PRO V2, Speeder V2, and the Clicker V3. All 3 model have unique features that we will go over here!
Starting with some similarities- the Perun Clickers are going to be made of a high strength polymer with magnets built into the body. This is going to be something similar to what Perun is doing with their current lineup of Mosfets using a small magnet attachment to the end of the trigger. Most aftermarket triggers are able to be utilized since the trigger is pushing against a magnet and that is what produces a “wall” feel. The trigger movement through the “wall” is going to disrupt the magnetic field on the Mosfet board and is going to register the shot within microseconds of that magnetic force being disrupted. The actual feel of the trigger is all adjusted to a series of magnets, springs, and setscrews that change tension or travel length for full customization. As of right now all the Clickers are designed to work with the Perun Hybrid Mosfet, but there is a new product from Perun that was leaked- a Perun HPA triggerboard that we will be seeing from them in the very near future (keep an eye out for that video and Blog!). This pairs so well with the tactile clickers, its so hard to not just pull the trigger like its a little fidget toy.

WHAT ARE THEY?

The most similiar features that the Clicker V2 is the Clicker V3 share is the fact that it is so simple to use and operate, much like the design of the original Clicker. Made from a molded material the structure of the Clicker V3 is similar to the trigger contacts you will see from the classic AK series. The Clicker V3 does have several points of adjust that you can use to tune your trigger to how you really want it to feel. You have control on the amount of force is needed to “break” the trigger to get a shot, the Pre-Travel which is how much space is taken up before the trigger contacts the “wall”, and the Over-Travel which is how far the trigger will travel after you “break” the trigger. The biggest difference, other than the shape, is the fact the Clicker V3 is compatible with the Hybrid V3, the Perun HPA Triggerboard, and the Arcturus PE Perun mosfets. AK users are going to get a kick out of this! We have installed this trigger into an E&L AK105 with the pre-released HPA triggerboards and a Redline N7 FCU and this is is probably one of the best combo’s I can think of for an ideal RUSFOR setup. I mean, you can use whatever base rifle you want but the concept is the same. Having a robust HPA engine, in a solid rifle body, and paired with a trigger that bridges that gap of realism...whats not to like about that?
Clicker V3!
Perun didnt want to just produce triggers just for the Milsim players, they also made a trigger for the Speedsoft players as well. The Clicker Speeder is designed to work with the V2 gearbox with potential to release a version for the V3 gearbox as well. The Clicker Speeder is the one currently on my desk that I play with just because it is a really simple system and the click is just really addicting. The Clicker Speeder is designed and intended to be used in conjunction with speed builds. This trigger has the most support for Pre-Travel, to be able to engage the trigger alot earlier than some other systems. Because of this feature the two-stage trigger functionality of the Hybrid is not functional (a shallow trigger pull might be a single shot, but a deep trigger pull can transition into full-auto) which is fine, since alot of players that may be using the Clicker Speeder will be doing semi-auto only and are going to prioritize having as short of a trigger pull as possible. You also have some other adjustments such as the BreakForce, Over-Travel, and Spring Return Tension so you can get it just how you like it. The Clicker Speeder we have was installed into a G&G ARP 556 2.0 Custom with a Hybrid V2 MOSFET. It performed extremely well and had no issues after installation.
Speeder V2!

As if that wasnt enough, the Clicker V2 PRO was another accessory that Perun announced as a drop-in for gearboxes. This was designed to have the heaviest possible trigger break- up to 6 lbs of pressure needed to “break” the trigger and produce a shot. This is comparable to Military-Grade rifles triggers! I think this is going to be another awesome addition for players that want to have something that is going to cement themselves into immersion. I can tell you firsthand that having a more realistic trigger was a huge bonus for me when I was creating my ideal rifle setup. Especially having a mixture of AEG’s, HPA’s, and GBBR’s having a more tactile feeling rifle is what I prefer. You have the capability of tuning this Clicker to how a real trigger would feel using the 5 points of adjustment; Breakforce, Pre-Travel, Over Travel, Spring Tension, and use additional Magnets to create even higher tension at the “wall”. The Clicker V2 PRO is the most in-depth and adjustable model that they have currently. Right now this Clicker is installed into an Elite Force M110 with an F2 using the Perun HPA Triggerboard. The break action of the trigger makes this really fun to mess around with, and with the heavier action I have it set to (which is as heavy as possible) it adds a level of physical realism that can be exhausting in a good way! For players who are not used to having heavier triggers it is going to be really tiresome when you are participating in a longer day of airsoft but they are also going to be awesome for people who want that immersive experience. One distinct advantage of the V2 PRO is the mechanical safety that they implement, other triggers are reliant on the programing of the selector switch to identify when the rifle is in “safe” and will not allow a shot. You can program this to be a different fire mode but the V2 PRO will restrict the trigger action much like a real firearm trigger.

INSTALLATION:

The install process is relatively straight forward- if you are able to take your rifle apart you should be able to do this process without issue. If you are using the Perun HPA trigger board it is the exact same process as you would have for any other HPA trigger board install. There is even different ports and plugs to use with HPA engines that use FCU’s/Trigger boards (Polarstar, Wolverine, Redline, and Spark Labs). The AEG version is going to be not much different than if you are familiar with installing aftermarket trigger contacts or MOSFET’s. The hardest part is going to be if you are trying to upgrade your rifle’s internal components, that takes a little more knowledge.
What I appreciated the most was the mechanical safety that the V2 Clicker PRO implemented which adds that extra level of immersion. The V3 Clicker mechanically feels really good in conjunction with AK platforms. If anyone remebers our previously mentioned setup- this AK trigger that feels really good and was complimented with the pop of the Redline nozzle as it fired.. Perun did a phenomenal job making sure they covered as many bases as possible as well by making sure it was compatible with as many gearboxes as possible. The V2 Clicker being able to drop-in to many standard gearboxes such as- A&K, Classic Army, CYMA, DE, King Arms, Krytac, KWA (G2X), G&G, G&P, Retro Arms, Specna Arms, SRC, and VFC. There may be others that are able to take the Clickers but there are chances that you may need to do some modifications. The V3 Clicker is another option where they wanted to incorporate it into many gearboxs- Arcturus (TM Base), D Boy, CYMA, E&L, G&G, JG, and LCT. And again, there are other gearboxes that could take it but they may need to be modified.
When talking with Perun directly about the features and functions of the Clickers and some of their MOSFET systems we were very surprised to hear that some of the Clickers that were first tested and built have hundreds of thousands of “Clicks” to them. Unfortunately (and fortunately!) this news came after we started clicking away at the Clicker PRO installed in the Elite Force M110 A1, but its good to have our own testing as well. Im also most excited about seeing how the E&L 105 is going to perform as a robust MILSIM setup. I’d love to do some water testing and make sure that it can perform in the wetter conditions of Milsim West, Gun Gamers Productions, or even STAG OPS. Stay tuned for a potential testing update!

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Overall the Clickers are an FANTASTIC addition to your airsoft replica, of the Amped Airsoft staff they were all beyond impressed with the feel that the Clicker provided. Granted that we only had the limited selection we have been able to drop these into but I know that I am looking forward to other airsoft replicas that I can install these Clickers into. On the list we have the Elite Force 416 A5, LCT G3, and even the Elite Force G36 to see how they perform in a wider range of replicas.

Whether you're into realism-heavy MILSIM builds or ultra-responsive speedsoft setups, Perun’s Clickers offer impressive tuning potential and physical feedback that most aftermarket triggers simply can’t match. The inclusion of mechanical safeties and broad compatibility shows just how much thought Perun put into this product line.

If you're building your dream airsoft rifle and want the trigger to feel just right, the Clicker series deserves a serious look!
