These poppet shims are used to fine tune your stock or low flow poppet.

Each shim kit comes with the four following sizes:
- 1x Pink .015
- 1x Yellow .020
- 1x White .025
- 1x Coral .030
Basic Instructions:
- Before adding a shim to your poppet, setup your PolarStar and tune it to your liking. Set it so that you are at your desired FPS and PSI. Record these numbers.
- Insert the lowest shim (Pink .015), record your results. Then continue to the next shim. Continue this till you notice a drop in your velocity. If the shim thickness is too large, you will notice a significant drop off in velocity and should go back to the previous shim.
- Typically most setups work with the middle ground shim (White .025), this will give you a benefit without all the tuning, however, if you want the most efficient setup, you will need to experiment with the other size shims.
- Once you pick your final shim size, double check your settings and finish fine tuning your psi and fcu to accommodate the new shim installation.
It is recommended to not go above .035 in combined thickness due to the Poppet valve traveling no more than close to .040.
