The PD-PRO-16B system is uniquely designed to provide operators with a significant night vision advantage when conducting operations.
At the core of the system is a high-performance 16mm 4G image intensifier tube that is equipped with our evolutionary 4G technology. The use of a 4G 16mm image intensifier tube within the PD-PRO-16B allows the system to not only be smaller and lighter than it’s 18mm cousins but also gives it a unique advantage in performance. The ultralight nature of the PD-PRO-16B reduces swing weight and size allowing operators using a night vision device to move quicker and see faster. The PD-PRO-16B is ideal for use in military operations, urban conflict, and environmental/border protection operations due to its unique size and capabilities. All PD-PRO systems, including the PD-PRO-16B, are only available in the US from Photonis Defense and their network of authorized distributors.

Strong, environmentally resistant, and logically designed, the PD-PRO-16B sets a new standard for performance in a much more compact package. Every component incorporated into the device is designed to maximize the systems 4G performance. An aerospace metal alloy housing makes it environmentally resistant to an electromagnetic pulse, extreme heat, cold, and salt. Each PD-PRO device is water-resistant to industry-leading levels; specialized objective lenses using German proprietary optical coatings take advantage of the full spectrum capability of the image intensifier tube. A long-lasting battery extends your operational use well beyond current standards. The PD-PRO-16B is what operators have been asking for but unable to get with a standard 18mm system.

When purchasing a helmet mount, this unit pairs best with the following mount Photonis PD PRO Helmet Mount. The Photonis mount comes with a magnetic bar that integrates with the PD PRO series on/off switch, allowing for the unit to turn off when flipped up and back on when flipped down. This also allows you to shoot in compromising positions without worrying about your NVGs turning off. Other mounts will not allow for this feature and your unit will stay on when flipped up.
