Product Description
ARCTURUS RS AEG HCL Main Spring (M90 / M95 / M100 / M120 / M130)
The ARCTURUS RS HCL main spring is a steel replacement spring for AEG gearboxes. HCL stands for High Cycle Life. These springs are built for durability, so they hold up in a gearbox you plan to run hard. Choose the rating that fits your power target, and the spring tunes your rifle to a specific velocity.
Five ratings are available. The M90 is rated at about 295 FPS, the M95 at about 310 FPS, and the M100 at about 330 FPS. For higher power, the M120 is rated at about 395 FPS and the M130 at about 425 FPS. Each spring has a color coded end, which makes the rating easy to identify during installation.
The spring fits standard AEG gearboxes, including M4 and AK platforms. These are manufacturer estimates, since your actual velocity depends on barrel length, cylinder volume, air seal, hop up, BB weight, and other parts in your gearbox. A stronger spring can also raise stress on your gearbox, motor, and battery, so match the rating to a gearbox that is built to handle it. Installation requires opening the gearbox, and professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced.
