Product Description
Silverback Airsoft - VKS Compact Bolt Action Sniper Rifle
The Silverback VKS Compact is a spring powered, straight pull bolt action bullpup sniper rifle based on the Russian VKS (Vykhlop). This is the short version without a suppressor. Silverback describes it as not a strict one to one replica, with airsoft specific changes. The bullpup layout puts a long inner barrel into a more manageable overall length.
It runs on a two piece relay bolt system and uses a reverse magazine reload. A 63 round double stack magazine plus a 5 round self capture feeding tube keeps BBs in place during reloads. The rifle is tuned for heavy BBs from 0.40g to 0.48g. It uses an adjustable TDC hop up and a QD spring quick change plate, and its AEG spec inner barrel and bucking make it easy to service. The cylinder, piston, and spring guide are shared with Silverback’s SRS platform, with 41 cc of air volume, so many SRS upgrades and spare parts fit.
Build quality includes a stamped steel receiver with nylon reinforced polymer furniture. The fire control, sear, and trigger are steel reinforced, and the piston spring is APS spec. A silent piston head with an airbrake and tool less disassembly round out the design. Available in black, FDE, and olive drab.
