At last a durable, ultra light and simple mount for the GoPro cameras. Simple in appearance only to be practical and minimal. Attach the mount to the top of your paintball mask through two of the openings which allow for multiple mounting options with the various paintball masks out on the market, including the ever popular Dye i4/i5 and Empire EVS models (might require minor modification). Add 2 or more screws (#6 1/2" or 3/4") for a secure fit with no interference with the lens or the user's face. If the mount seems a bit wobbly try adding some #10 size washers on the vent side to stabilize it further. Then slide in either your GoPro camera such as the HERO 1-7 series or the HERO Session. Reuse one of the thumb screws and nuts from the hardware that comes with the camera and you are good to go.
The camera sits above the mask out of the way of iron sights or optics and can be adjusted for perfect point-ability. One tip is to mark a line between the mount and the camera case once alignment is set for easy repair-ability.
